Australia’s First National Parkinson’s Action Plan is set to launch at Parliament House today.

The Action Plan will outline priorities to change the lives of those currently living with the disease, focus on reducing stigma and increase research, data collection and care infrastructure.

Executive Director of National Parkinson's Alliance Richard Wylie says 11 of Australia's most influential Parkinson's organisations have come together to launch the initiative.

Today, we officially launched Australia's first national Parkinson's action plan, marking an historic turning point for the 200,000 Australians currently living with Parkinson's.
