The federal Treasurer has flagged tax reform, a productivity push and savings in the upcoming Budget.
The savings package will include reform of the National Disability Insurance Scheme, which Health Minister Mark Butler will outline on Wednesday.
Jim Chalmers says he's invited his state and territory counterparts to discuss changes to the NDIS tomorrow.
He says more needs to be done to make the scheme sustainable.
The NDIS is growing too fast for Australians to afford. It's about $49 billion this year by the end of the forward estimates, not that far away, it's about $62 billion that's in 2829.
